Accessibility statement

Konvel Ltd is committed to making this website usable by as many people as possible. This page is published in English; any translation is provided as a courtesy and the English version prevails in case of ambiguity.

Standard we aim for

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.1, Level AA, the international reference for accessible web content. As a privately operated B2B website not covered by mandatory EU or UK public-sector accessibility regulations, this is a voluntary commitment.

What we have designed for

The site has been built with the following accessibility considerations:

  • Semantic HTML structure with clearly identified landmarks (main, navigation, footer).
  • A "Skip to content" link for keyboard users.
  • Colour palette designed to meet AA contrast guidance for body text and primary controls.
  • Interactive elements (links, buttons, form fields) intended to be reachable and operable by keyboard.
  • Support for prefers-reduced-motion, so visitors who have disabled animations at the operating-system level see a static experience.
  • ARIA attributes where additional context is needed (such as the language switcher).
  • No reliance on colour alone to convey meaning.

"Designed for" describes our intent. We cannot guarantee that every element on every page in every browser at every viewport will meet every WCAG success criterion at all times.

Known limitations

We are transparent about what we have not yet completed:

  • The site has not yet been independently audited against WCAG 2.1 AA. Our own checks and standard automated tooling (axe, WAVE) are the current basis for our assessment.
  • Web fonts are self-hosted from this domain — no third-party font CDN is used; visitor IP is not sent to Google.
  • A formal screen-reader review across all dynamic interactions has not yet been completed.

Reporting an accessibility issue

If you encounter difficulty using this website, please tell us. Email hello@konvel.co.uk with "Accessibility issue" in the subject line. Helpful information to include:

  • The page where the issue occurred (full URL).
  • What you were trying to do.
  • What happened (or did not happen).
  • Your assistive technology, if any (screen reader, magnifier, voice control, etc.).

We will respond as soon as we reasonably can, normally within five working days, and will work to address substantiated issues within a reasonable timeframe given their complexity. We can also provide the relevant information in an alternative format on request where practicable.

Legal framework

The UK Equality Act 2010 requires service providers to make reasonable adjustments to ensure their services are accessible to disabled people. We treat WCAG 2.1 AA as our reasonable-adjustment baseline. The Public Sector Bodies (Websites and Mobile Applications) Accessibility Regulations 2018 do not apply to Konvel; we are a private-sector business.

The European Accessibility Act applies to a defined set of consumer-facing products and services. As a B2B procurement consultancy, Konvel is outside its scope. We nonetheless aim to apply the same standard voluntarily.

No guarantee; reasonable efforts

This statement reflects our reasonable efforts to make our website accessible. It does not constitute a warranty or guarantee that the site will be free of accessibility defects, nor does it create any legal right or remedy beyond those already provided by law. We will use reasonable efforts to address validated issues that are reported to us.
